Stephanie Hayes is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of 1to1 Therapy Services and 1to1 Rehab. As Director of Clinical Services, Stephanie supports the ongoing learning and clinical service of over 75 therapists (speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, registered dietitians, behaviour therapists, nurses, social workers) and continues as a Clinical Mentor. She has been practicing as a Speech Language Pathologist for over 30 years with experience in communication disorders from different perspectives: education, preschool, hospital, treatment centre and community homecare.

Her particular interests are in speech sound disorders, motor speech, developing language & literacy and cognitive communication. She authored two parent communication facilitation programs: Conestoga Language Interaction Program and Sound Systems. Interdisciplinary practice has been a focus while working in the areas of feeding & swallowing, augmentative communication and acquired brain injury,

Since 2000, she has chaired 1to1’s successful Accreditation with the Canadian Service Programs, CASLPA and Accreditation Canada (2004, 2009 and 2013). Accreditation Canada now awards various levels of achievement. In 2013, 1to1 was awarded Accreditation with Exemplary Standing, the highest level of achievement.

Stephanie has been a lecturer for the University of Toronto speech language pathology program for the past 5 years. She is a member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (CASLPA) and Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). Stephanie has served on a number of national and provincial committees for school health services, outcome measurement, clinical standards and mentorship. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).receiving the ACE award twice. On the provincial level, Stephanie has served on advisory committees for Ontario Assistive Device Program for orthotics, communication aids, Ontario CCACs and Children’s Treatment Centre of Simcoe York. Presentations for research and clinical service have been given provincially, nationally and internationally.

Stephanie enjoys cottage life in Haliburton Ontario, swimming, travelling and acrylic painting. As a clinical director, Stephanie thrives on the success of 1to1 clients, clinical mentoring of therapists, keeping up with social media, clinical apps & clinical research, community advocacy and the high standards of 1to1 Rehab and 1to1 Therapy Services.
